Stichting Global Gaming Community is the data controller responsible for the processing of your personal data in connection with Global Convoy Control.

Although we are based in the Netherlands, this policy applies globally wherever our members are located.

3.1 Personal data collected from registered members

When you create an account and use member features of our Service, we collect the personal data required to create and manage your membership.

Username

  • Discord ID
  • TruckersMP ID
  • Application information
  • Convoy participation history
  • Account status (including blacklist status, if applicable)

Optional fields are only collected if you choose to provide them.

When you visit or use our Service, we automatically collect technical and usage data.

This data includes:

  • IP address

  • Device information
  • Pages visited and actions taken on the site
  • Date and time of visits

When you close your account or leave Global Convoy Control, we will delete or anonymise your personal data within 90 days, except where retention is required for legitimate purposes.

  • Deleted after 90 days:
  • Active account data
  • Convoy participation statistics
  • Public profile information

Retained beyond 90 days (restricted access):

  • Internal join and leave history
  • Limited identifiers required to prevent ban evasion (such as email address, Steam ID, TruckersMP ID, Discord ID, or internal unique identifiers)
  • Blacklist status

This data is retained solely for:

  • Enforcing bans and blacklists
  • Preventing rejoining under a different account
  • Protecting the integrity and safety of the community

Access to this data is restricted to authorized staff only
It is not visible to other members and is not used for statistics or public display

We periodically review retained data and delete it when it is no longer necessary.

9. Data Storage and International Transfers

Personal data is primarily stored on servers located within the EU/EEA.

Access to personal data is restricted to authorized administrators who need it to operate, manage, and moderate the Service.

For communication and internal administration, we may use Google services such as Gmail, Google Drive, and Google Docs.

Google may process data on servers located outside the EU/EEA. When this occurs, we rely on appropriate safeguards in accordance with GDPR, including the European Commission’s Standard Contractual Clauses.

14. Third-Party Platforms (TruckersMP & Discord)

Membership of Global Convoy Control requires a valid TruckersMP account.

When you apply to or are accepted into Global Convoy Control, certain personal data may be shared with third-party platforms, including:

  • TruckersMP (truckersmp.com)
  • Discord (when a member chooses to link their account)

The shared data may include:

  • Username
  • TruckersMP ID
  • Discord username and Discord ID (if linked)
  • Membership status (join / leave)

Members may optionally link their Discord account to enable role synchronisation and access to community features.

These platforms act as independent data controllers.
Stichting Global Gaming Community, operating under Global Convoy Control, does not control how these platforms process your personal data.

Data shared with these platforms is limited to what is necessary to manage membership.

15. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time.

Material changes will be announced on the website or by Discord.

The effective date will always be updated.
